Azure Landing Zone Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

We are modernising our platform with Azure public cloud, delivering secure, resilient and green solutions for our customers. As an Azure Landing Zone Site Reliability Engineer you will lead a squad of engineers, applying SRE principles to ensure high availability and reliability of our cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and organise a front‑line Azure SRE team, collaborating with business platforms across the bank.
• Design, release and evolve scalable public‑cloud solutions on Azure.
• Apply an SRE mindset to improve availability, observability, automation and reduce toil.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and handle out‑of‑hours incidents.
• Contribute to the Public Cloud strategic technology roadmap.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading operations or engineering teams in a cloud environment.
• Strong SRE approach with a focus on reliability and service quality.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services and related tooling.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model (minimum two days per week on‑site).
