B2B Credit Controller / Recoveries Executive

About the role

We are seeking an experienced B2B Credit Controller / Recoveries Executive to manage a portfolio of up to 300 claims for a leading credit hire and vehicle repair provider in Rochdale. The role involves working with insurers, solicitors and other third parties to recover outstanding costs and resolve disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of up to 300 B2B recovery claims.
• Recover outstanding payments from insurers, solicitors, businesses and other third parties.
• Oversee credit hire, vehicle repair, storage, recovery and uninsured loss claims.
• Contact businesses and third parties to negotiate successful payment outcomes.
• Investigate and resolve liability, quantum and payment disputes.
• Liaise with insurers, solicitors, clients and external stakeholders.
• Process payments, correspondence and telephone enquiries.
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
• Progress claims efficiently to achieve recovery targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in B2B credit control, commercial collections, debt recovery, accounts receivable, recoveries or claims handling.
• Proven track record of recovering outstanding payments from businesses.
• Strong negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent telephone communication.
• Ability to manage a large caseload and prioritize workloads effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience within credit hire, motor claims, accident management or insurance claims is advantageous.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

What we offer

• Competitive salary between £27,000 and £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
