B2B Fire Service Sales Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to drive B2B sales of fire safety and security services across Essex and North East London. You will work from home, visiting customers and securing contracts for fire alarm systems, fire risk assessments, extinguishers and related maintenance services.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business by prospecting, cold‑calling and arranging appointments with commercial clients.
• Present and quote fire alarm, FRA, fire extinguisher and security service contracts.
• Follow up leads, negotiate terms and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
• Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and update CRM with activity.
• Provide ongoing support to clients, ensuring service renewals and upsells.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling fire alarm, fire protection or security service contracts.
• Strong knowledge of fire risk assessments (FRA) and fire safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Based in or near Essex or North East London.
