B2B Sales Support Executive

About the role

This position supports a fast‑growing FMCG business in Reading, working closely with sales, customer service and operations teams. You will act as a key liaison for B2B customers, ensuring smooth order processing and a first‑class experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist field and internal sales teams with day‑to‑day account management.
• Prepare quotations, pricing schedules, sales proposals and customer presentations.
• Manage customer enquiries and serve as the primary contact for B2B accounts.
• Process orders and maintain accurate information across internal systems.
• Monitor sales performance data and produce regular reports for management.
• Coordinate promotional activities, product launches and customer communications.
• Liaise with supply chain, logistics, finance and customer service to ensure seamless order fulfilment.
• Maintain CRM and sales databases, guaranteeing data accuracy.
• Support contract administration, customer onboarding and account reviews.
• Identify opportunities to improve service levels and drive revenue growth.
• Generate sales forecasts, pipeline reports and business performance metrics.
• Assist Key Account Managers on strategic projects and tenders.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales support, sales administration, account coordination, customer service or commercial support.
• Experience supporting B2B customers, preferably in FMCG, distribution, wholesale or manufacturing.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused attitude with commercial awareness.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
