Backend Developer – Node.js & TypeScript

About the role

As a Backend Developer you will contribute to backend services and tooling that support Lush’s global business. You will develop custom software, including REST APIs and GraphQL subgraphs, extend open‑source solutions such as Saleor and ERPNext, and integrate third‑party tools like Power BI and CloudSQL.

Key responsibilities

• Write clear, maintainable code that scales across projects and distributed teams.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA, designers and partners to deliver scalable technology worldwide.
• Refactor, review and maintain existing enterprise application codebases, ensuring performance, security and scalability.
• Build new features to support the growth of the global business.
• Research and implement innovative techniques to improve the development process.

Required profile

• Mid‑weight engineer or strong junior engineer with solid foundational skills.
• Passion for developing high‑quality, performant products for a global business.
• Great attitude and readiness to take the next step in your career.

What we offer
