Backshift Warehouse Operative (Afternoon)

About the role

DX Network Services is looking for a Backshift Warehouse Operative to work afternoons at its Middlesbrough site. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of freight, supporting the delivery operation and ensuring that parcels are prepared correctly for their routes.

Key responsibilities

• Represent DX in a professional manner at all times.
• Follow DX manual handling and health‑and‑safety policies, using the correct personal protective equipment.
• Handle all freight with care, using appropriate equipment and methods.
• Load and unload vehicles safely, ensuring paperwork and scanner information match the freight.
• Report any damages immediately to your line manager.
• Ensure freight is stored and transported safely and respectfully.

Required profile

• Willingness to work back‑shift/afternoon hours.
• Physical ability to lift and move freight safely.
• Attention to detail when checking paperwork and loading cargo.
• Commitment to follow health‑and‑safety procedures and use PPE.
