Backshift Warehouse Operative (Afternoons)

About the role

DX Network Services is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative for the back‑shift/afternoon roster in Bristol. You will play a vital part in loading and unloading freight safely, supporting delivery routes and ensuring that parcels reach customers on time.

Key responsibilities

• Unload and load freight from vehicles using appropriate equipment and PPE.
• Match freight to paperwork or scanner data and report any damages immediately.
• Prepare deliveries for dispatch, ensuring correct items are loaded for each route.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow DX manual‑handling, health‑and‑safety and company policies at all times.

Required profile

• Professional attitude and ability to represent DX positively.
• Commitment to safety and accurate handling of goods.
• Reliability for a full‑time back‑shift schedule.

Required skills

• Manual handling techniques.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Operation of basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet trucks, forklifts).
