About the role

Our client, a well‑known bakery in Winchester, is looking for an experienced Bakery Manager to lead their friendly store. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality products, exceptional customer service and driving the bakery’s performance within the local community.

Required profile

• Previous management or supervisory experience in hospitality, food service, retail, café, bakery or restaurant environments.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
• Track record of delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience managing sales targets, budgets and KPIs.
• Food preparation and service experience with strong knowledge of food hygiene, safety and quality standards.
• Experience in staff training, stock control, waste reduction and cost management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
