Band 5 General Nurse – Temporary Bank Position

About the role

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking enthusiastic Band 5 registered nurses to join its temporary staffing bank. You will work flexible shifts across a variety of clinical settings, supporting multidisciplinary teams while delivering high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Work shifts on wards and departments across multiple Trust sites.
• Provide comprehensive patient care, including acute medical management and monitoring deteriorating patients.
• Deliver wound, pain, and diabetes management, as well as health promotion and patient education.
• Coordinate complex discharge planning, sepsis treatment, end‑of‑life care, and dementia/delirium support.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (Band 5) with a current NHS or equivalent registration.
• Motivated, committed and able to adapt to varied shift patterns.
• Strong sense of accountability for patient outcomes.
• Willingness to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
