Band 5 Registered Nurse – Haemato‑Oncology Transplant Day Unit

About the role

The Royal Marsden is seeking a Band 5 Registered Nurse to join the Ambulatory Inpatients (AMBIN) Haemato‑Oncology Transplant Day Unit. This specialist team provides inpatient‑level treatments in an outpatient setting for patients receiving supportive therapies, systemic anti‑cancer drugs and cellular therapy.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care to complex haematology‑oncology patients.
• Work proactively in a fast‑paced, highly specialised environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.
• Support service development and contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Document, plan and evaluate evidence‑based nursing care in collaboration with shift coordinators.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, motivated Band 5 registered nurse.

• Willingness to develop a deeper understanding of cancer treatment modalities.

Required skills

• Experience in haemato‑oncology or a similar specialist nursing area.
