Band 5 Speech & Language Therapist

About the role

As a Band 5 Speech & Language Therapist you will join the Children’s Therapy Team in Redhill, Surrey, delivering child‑centred assessment and therapy for a wide range of speech, language, communication and feeding difficulties. The role is fixed‑term and offers a supportive multidisciplinary environment where you will develop your clinical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a general paediatric caseload, assessing and reviewing children with complex communication needs.
• Design, deliver and evaluate evidence‑based interventions and individualised therapy programmes.
• Collaborate with families, schools, health professionals and external agencies to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic and motivated therapist with a commitment to high‑quality child‑focused care.
• Newly qualified or early‑career professionals are welcomed and will receive structured supervision and mentorship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
