Band 6 Paramedic – Cardiac CT Support (Part‑time)

About the role

This part‑time Band 6 Paramedic position supports patients undergoing cardiac CT procedures in a busy private clinical environment. You will work alongside physicians and radiographers to ensure safe, high‑quality care during each scan.

Key responsibilities

• Perform patient cannulation safely and accurately.
• Monitor, record and report patient observations throughout cardiac CT examinations.
• Respond promptly to adverse reactions and medical emergencies.
• Assist the on‑site physician in delivering clinical care.
• Collaborate with radiographers to maintain smooth patient pathways.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to professional standards.

Required profile

• Current HCPC registration.
• Recognised Advanced Paramedic qualification.
• Strong experience in cardiac care.
• Completed DBS check and provision of professional references.
• Previous experience in MRI or CT cardiac environments is advantageous.
