About the role
We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Specialist Biomedical Scientist (BMS) to work on a locum basis within Haematology in Derry, Northern Ireland. The position supports the blood transfusion service and requires an immediate start, offering an ongoing contract.
Key responsibilities
- Perform haematology analyses and support blood transfusion services.
- Provide specialist laboratory expertise on a locum basis, ensuring compliance with HCPC standards.
Required profile
- HCPC registration is essential.
- Fully qualified BMS with a minimum of 12 months recent experience in a UK hospital and proven experience within Microbiology.
