Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist – Gravesham Hospital

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Speech and Language Therapist at Band 6 level to join our multidisciplinary team at Gravesham Community Hospital. You will deliver high‑quality assessment and therapy for adult patients while benefiting from a supportive environment and hybrid working options.

Key responsibilities

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, therapy, and advice for adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders.
• Deliver evidence‑based interventions both face‑to‑face and via telehealth.
• Collaborate with senior clinicians and the multidisciplinary team to develop personalised care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to service development and audit.

Required profile

• Qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
• Experience working with adult patients with communication or dysphagia needs.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to NHS standards.
