Band 7 Mammographer – £32 per hour (Part‑time/Temporary)

About the role

Day Webster is recruiting a Band 7 Mammographer for a hospital in South West England. The position is part‑time and temporary, offering a competitive gross rate of £32 per hour. The successful candidate will start as soon as possible and may work a flexible pattern of days.

Key responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality mammography imaging in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to the department’s quality assurance activities.
• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support diagnostic pathways.

Required profile

• Qualified Mammographer with appropriate registration.
• Availability to work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, or alternatively on Mondays and/or Fridays.
• Flexibility to adapt to the shift pattern required by the service.
