Band 8a Vascular Scientist – Hemel Hempstead

About the role

The client is seeking a Band 8a Vascular Scientist to join a busy vascular clinic in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. The position is full‑time with an attractive hourly rate of £55 and the possibility of flexible patterns for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound examinations in a clinic setting, including arterial, venous and renal studies.
• Image and assess fistulas and other vascular access sites.
• Document findings accurately and contribute to multidisciplinary patient care.
• Maintain high standards of infection control and equipment hygiene.

Required profile

• SVT accreditation is preferred.
• Proven experience in a vascular laboratory environment.
• Demonstrable ability to scan vascular and renal anatomy.
• Willingness to start as soon as possible.
