About the role
We are seeking a Band 8C Deputy Accountable Aseptic Pharmacist to join a hospital pharmacy in the South West of England. The successful candidate will provide senior aseptic pharmacy expertise and support the accountable pharmacist in delivering safe, high‑quality sterile medicines.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the accountable pharmacist in overseeing aseptic pharmacy operations.
- Ensure compliance with GPHC standards and hospital policies for sterile product preparation.
- Provide clinical input and guidance to multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain and improve aseptic techniques and procedures.
- Participate in training, audit and continuous improvement activities.
Required profile
- GPHC‑registered pharmacist.
- Significant experience in aseptic pharmacy, preferably at senior level within an NHS trust.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Required skills
- Aseptic technique.
