Bank Advanced Clinical Practitioner – Primary Care

About the role

IC24 is seeking a Bank Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join its Primary Care team in Herstmonceux. This temporary, full‑time position allows you to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care across face‑to‑face and remote consultations while working within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute and undifferentiated conditions.
• Prescribe medications independently following clinical assessment and ensure treatment plans align with best practice.
• Evaluate complex presentations, addressing physical, psychological and social needs, and determine appropriate discharge or referral pathways.
• Support long‑term condition management and women’s health initiatives.
• Participate in clinical governance activities, including audits and quality‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Clinical Practitioner or Paramedic Practitioner.
• Registered prescriber with the authority to prescribe independently.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and make sound clinical decisions.
• Experience in primary‑care settings and managing diverse patient presentations.
