About the role
As a Bank Care Assistant in a Barchester care home you will help residents enjoy each day by providing high‑quality personal care and companionship. The role is flexible, covering shifts as needed, and offers a varied and rewarding daily routine.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with food, drink and personal hygiene following individual care plans.
- Provide one‑to‑one time and emotional support to promote wellbeing.
- Support daily living activities and ensure a safe, comfortable environment.
- Follow care home policies and record observations accurately.
Required profile
- Previous experience caring for older people.
- Positive, can‑do attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Empathy, warmth and a compassionate approach to resident care.
