About the role
As a Bank Care Assistant in a Barchester care home you will support residents to enjoy each day by providing high-quality personal care and companionship. The role is flexible, covering shifts when needed, and offers a varied and rewarding daily routine.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living tasks such as eating, drinking and personal hygiene.
- Follow individual care plans and ensure residents’ needs are met.
- Provide one-to-one time and companionship to promote wellbeing.
- Support the care team by covering absences, annual leave or sick leave.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment within the care home.
Required profile
- Previous experience caring for older people.
- Positive, can-do attitude and excellent communication.
- Empathetic, warm-hearted and compassionate approach.
