Bank Chef – Flexible Part-Time Role

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Chef to join our Bank team on a flexible, part‑time basis. You will work in a healthcare setting, delivering hotel‑standard meals while enjoying a better work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, seasonal menus tailored to residents.
• Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.
• Prepare fresh, high‑quality dishes and maintain the highest culinary standards.
• Work within budget, conduct regular audits and control stock levels.
• Lead, motivate and support the kitchen team to ensure a warm, efficient environment.

Required profile

• Personable, warm approach with a genuine interest in residents’ wellbeing.
• City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ (or equivalent) culinary qualification.
• Experience in leading and inspiring a kitchen team.
• Good understanding of nutrition and HACCP principles.
• Experience with fresh, seasonal produce.
