About the role
As a Domestic Assistant at Garioch Care Home, you will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for 37 residents. Working in a purpose‑built care home surrounded by gardens, you will ensure rooms, bathrooms and communal areas meet high standards of hygiene and presentation.
Key responsibilities
- Clean residents’ rooms, bathrooms and shared spaces to a high standard.
- Support laundry services, handling personal belongings with care.
- Follow infection‑control, health and safety, and cleaning procedures.
- Collaborate with the wider care team to ensure a respectful and comfortable environment.
Required profile
- Positive, reliable attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial; previous experience welcomed but not essential.

- Hourly rate of £12.71.
- Bank‑hour contract (temporary, flexible hours).
- Paid PVG check.
