Bank Kitchen Assistant – 40 hrs/week

About the role

Hallmark Care Homes is looking for a caring and flexible Bank Kitchen Assistant to support meal preparation and service for residents. You will work 40 hours per week on a 7‑day rota, enjoying every other weekend off, and help create a pleasant dining experience in a residential care setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist chefs with food preparation, cooking, and plating.
• Ensure meals are served on time and to the required standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Support stock control by receiving deliveries and storing items correctly.
• Collaborate with the care team to meet residents’ dietary needs.
