About the role
This casual, part‑time position offers flexible working as a Bank Kitchen Assistant in a Barchester care home. You will help deliver first‑class food and hospitality, supporting residents' wellbeing through nutritious meals and a pleasant dining experience.
Key responsibilities
- Provide cover for planned or unplanned staff absences.
- Prepare and cook meals according to dietary and safety standards.
- Create a welcoming dining environment for residents.
- Interact with residents to enhance their hospitality experience.

- Reliability, consideration and a caring attitude.
- Flexibility in work patterns and availability.
- Commitment to maintaining high kitchen and food‑preparation standards.
- No formal qualifications required; relevant experience in a commercial or care setting is a plus.
