About the role
This casual, part‑time position provides flexible cover in the kitchen of a Barchester care home. You will help deliver nutritious, high‑quality meals that support residents' wellbeing and enhance their daily dining experience.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
- Provide cover for planned or unplanned staff absences, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Assist with setting up and serving meals to residents.
Required profile
- Reliable, considerate and caring attitude.
- Flexible availability to work varied hours and days.
- Experience in a commercial kitchen or care‑home setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
