Bank Paediatric Speech & Language Therapy Assistant

About the role

As a Bank Paediatric Speech & Language Therapy Assistant you will join HCRG Care Group’s Therapies Team in Chertsey, supporting children with a variety of communication needs. Working under the supervision of a qualified Speech and Language Therapist, you will deliver individual and group therapy sessions and help families navigate communication challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver evidence‑based, child‑centred therapy programmes (individual and group) under therapist guidance.
• Assist in assessing children’s communication needs and contribute to reports and reviews.
• Support parents, carers and school staff by providing clear, empathetic information and advice.
• Maintain accurate therapy records and update care plans as required.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to case discussions.
• Engage in ongoing training, supervision and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Motivated, compassionate and enthusiastic about working with children.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness to follow direction from qualified therapists and adhere to best‑practice guidelines.
