Bank Registered Nurse – Complex Care (Flexible Hours)

About the role

This casual, part‑time bank position offers flexible working within a Barchester care home. You will join a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver high‑quality nursing care for residents with complex and challenging behaviours, always respecting dignity and promoting quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and support to residents with complex needs.
• Listen to patients, supervise care delivery and ensure excellent standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed care plans and risk assessments.
• Cover staffing gaps for annual leave, sick leave or other absences.
• Adhere to regulatory frameworks and internal policies.

Required profile

• Current NMC registration.
• Strong knowledge of up‑to‑date clinical practices, especially dementia care.
• Experience creating comprehensive care plans and risk assessments.
• Understanding of DoLS/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
• Compassionate, person‑centred approach to nursing.
