Bank Registered Nurse (RGN) – Care Home (Flexible)

About the role

This casual, part‑time Bank Registered Nurse position offers flexible working within a Barchester care home. You will support residents’ physical, psychological and social needs, creating a safe and supportive environment while exercising professional judgement on clinical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain tailored care plans for each resident.
• Administer medication safely and accurately.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments.
• Provide high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care.
• Respond to urgent clinical situations and make critical decisions.

Required profile

• Current registration with the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of clinical best practices.
• Experience creating detailed care plans and risk assessments.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
• Compassionate, dedicated and patient‑focused attitude.
