Bank Registered Nurse (RGN) – Care Home

About the role
As a Bank Registered Nurse (RGN) in a Barchester care home, you will provide safe, compassionate care to residents with a range of physical and mental health needs. You will work flexibly, covering shifts as required, and use your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and review personalised care plans for each resident.
- Administer medication safely and accurately.
- Carry out detailed risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and record residents' health status, responding promptly to changes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
Required profile
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Strong knowledge of up‑to‑date clinical practices and regulatory frameworks (DoLs/MCA, Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines).
- Experience in producing comprehensive care plans and risk assessments.
- Dedicated, compassionate and person‑centred approach to nursing.
