Bank Registered Nurse (RGN) – Flexible Part‑Time Care Home Role

About the role

This casual, part‑time position offers flexible working as a Bank Registered Nurse in a Barchester care home. You will support residents' physical, psychological and social needs, creating a safe and supportive environment while exercising professional judgement on clinical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain tailored care plans for each resident.
• Administer medication safely and accurately.
• Conduct detailed risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.
• Provide high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care across a range of physical and mental health needs.
• Respond to urgent clinical situations and make critical decisions as required.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Strong knowledge of up‑to‑date clinical practices.
• Experience producing comprehensive care plans and risk assessments.
• Understanding of DoLs/MCA regulations and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
• Dedicated, compassionate and committed to a person‑centred approach.
