Bank Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) – Care Home

About the role

This casual, part‑time Bank Registered Nurse position supports residents in a Barchester care home in Fulwood. You will deliver safe, person‑centred care, balancing physical, psychological and social needs while exercising professional judgement on clinical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review individualised care plans and risk assessments.
• Administer medication safely in line with Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
• Provide direct nursing care to residents with diverse physical and mental health needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (DoLs, MCA).
• Support the care team to create a safe, supportive environment.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Strong knowledge of up‑to‑date clinical practices and care planning.
• Understanding of DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
• Compassionate, person‑centred approach to nursing.
