Bank Senior Care Assistant

About the role
Join Agincare as a Bank Senior Care Assistant, providing person‑centred support to residents in a dynamic care home environment. This flexible, bank‑staff role offers the chance to make a real difference while working varied shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver personal care such as bathing, dressing and oral hygiene, respecting residents' preferences and promoting independence.
- Participate in and contribute to care reviews to ensure care plans meet individual needs.
- Administer medication safely and in compliance with regulations.
- Lead and take part in social activities, outings and engagements within the home.
- Support new starters through shadowing and may step in to lead the home when senior managers are unavailable.
Required profile
- Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it).
- Flexibility to work night and weekend shifts as required.
- Availability for daytime shifts (8 am‑8 pm) and night shifts (8 pm‑8 am).
