Bank Support Worker (Flexible Hours)

About the role
This casual, part‑time Bank Support Worker role is based at a Barchester independent mental health hospital in Waltham Abbey. You will use empathy and intuition to support patients with complex behaviours, helping them live as independently as possible.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day support to patients, ensuring dignity and respect.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to manage challenging behaviours.
- Help create a safe, supportive environment that promotes patient independence.
- Cover shifts as needed for annual leave, sick leave or other staffing gaps.
Required profile
- Warm‑hearted and resilient with a genuine interest in patients’ wellbeing.
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
