Banking & Finance Associate – London

About the role

Hydrogen Group is partnering with leading law firms across London to recruit Banking & Finance Associates. Opportunities span Leveraged Finance, Real Estate Finance and Structured Finance, targeting candidates from newly qualified (NQ) to eight years post‑qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support on complex financing transactions.
• Draft and negotiate loan agreements, security documents and related contracts.
• Conduct due‑diligence and liaise with lenders, borrowers and other stakeholders.
• Assist senior partners in structuring and executing financing deals.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with experience in banking and finance law.
• 2‑8 years of post‑qualification experience in a leading City, US or international firm.
• Strong technical ability and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and client‑service skills.

Required skills

• Legal drafting of financing documentation.
• Knowledge of leveraged, real‑estate and structured finance transactions.
