Bar Assistant (Zero Hours)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Bar Assistants to join our Defence catering team on a zero‑hours, permanent casual basis. You will help create beautifully crafted drinks and deliver exceptional service to staff and visitors in secure environments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare perfectly blended drinks and serve high‑quality food.
• Maintain an efficient bar service with a focus on speed and quality.
• Keep the bar area clean and well‑organized.
• Know all beverages on the menu, how to prepare them, and how to present them.
• Receive and process cash and card payments accurately.
• Work collaboratively with the team and communicate clearly with customers.
• Represent the Defence brand positively.
• Follow food handling, hygiene, health and safety standards.
