About the role

Join the team at The Albany Palace in Trowbridge as a bar staff member, serving food and drinks in a fast‑paced pub environment. No prior experience is required – we provide full training and support to help you succeed.

Key responsibilities

• Take orders and serve drinks and food to customers, both at the bar and via the customer app.
• Prepare, dispense and serve drinks to the correct specification.
• Deliver food, complete check‑backs and clear plates within required timeframes.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and customer service, including ‘clean as you go’ duties.
• Perform supporting tasks such as glass‑washing, restocking fridges, floor and beer‑garden clearing, and toilet checks.

Required profile

• Fun, enthusiastic and passionate about hospitality.
• Good attitude, reliable and friendly with a calm head under pressure.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Flexible availability for mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes.

What we offer

• Competitive hourly rate of £12.81.
• Free meal and drink while on shift and a 20% discount on food, drinks and hotel accommodation for you and up to three guests.
• £1 extra per hour for hours worked between midnight and 5:59 am.
