Bar Support – Birmingham

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Bar Support team member to join Albert’s Schloss in Birmingham. This entry‑level position offers a first step into hospitality, working alongside the Bar Manager to ensure the bar runs smoothly and provides a welcoming environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping surfaces, cleaning glassware and ensuring the floor is tidy.
• Collect and wash glasses, restock bar supplies and replenish stock as needed.
• Assist the bar team during service by supporting drink preparation and keeping the workstations organised.
• Monitor bar presentation and ensure all health and safety standards are met.

Required profile

• Passion for food and drink and a desire to deliver excellent guest experiences.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, bustling environment.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Reliability, teamwork and a positive attitude.

Required skills

• Basic bar hygiene and cleaning techniques.
• Ability to handle glassware safely.
• Stock‑taking and replenishment basics.
