Bar & Waiting Staff (Part Time)

About the role

Greene King is hiring a Bar & Waiting Staff member for its Cornerstone pub in Gildersome Arms, Morley. The role is part time, at 10 hours per week, and sits within a team that creates welcoming experiences and builds lasting relationships with locals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each time they visit.
• Act as the insider behind the bar, recommending drinks to customers.
• Prepare and present drinks that meet specifications and customer expectations.
• Assist in greeting, serving food and looking after customers while they dine.
• Keep the bar safe, legal and clean, dealing with issues quickly and safely.
• Be available to work Christmas Day and other key dates during the festive period.

Required profile

• Willingness to learn and expand your skills.
• A great eye for detail, making sure every pint is poured to perfection.
• A passion for great service and a warm welcome for every customer.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a strong team spirit.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
