Barista – Luxury Hotel in London

About the role

Jumeirah Carlton Tower, a landmark luxury hotel in Knightsbridge, London, is seeking a Barista to deliver high‑quality coffee and beverage service to guests. The role involves preparing a variety of drinks, handling orders, and ensuring a seamless guest experience in a premium hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Take guest orders and serve coffee, tea, smoothies, juices, sandwiches, pastries and other items, ensuring accuracy and prompt service.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu and provide recommendations to guests and colleagues.
• Collect payments, process financial transactions and verify bills before presenting them to guests.
• Perform daily calibrations of coffee machines and grinders to guarantee optimal performance.
• Contribute to the development of the bar menu and perfect recipes for signature drinks.

Required profile

• Higher Secondary School certificate or equivalent country‑specific qualification.
• Basic Food and Hygiene Training.
• Minimum one year experience as a Barista in a luxury hotel environment.
• Availability to work weekends, days, evenings and holidays.

Required skills

• Operation and calibration of coffee machines and grinders.
• Cash handling and transaction processing.
