Barista Team Leader – 12 hrs/week (Fixed‑term)

About the role

Join Costa Coffee in Taunton as a Barista Team Leader, working 12 hours per week on a fixed‑term contract until 1 January. You will lead a small team, ensuring smooth service and high‑quality coffee for our customers while enjoying flexible shift patterns.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily shifts to maintain efficient operations.
• Train, support and motivate new baristas.
• Uphold Costa’s standards for service excellence and coffee preparation.
• Adapt quickly to busy periods, managing resources and resolving issues.

Required profile

• Reliable role model with accountability and maturity.
• Strong communicator and enthusiastic team player.
• Energetic, positive and confident when leading others.
• Calm under pressure, adaptable and resourceful.

Required skills

• Experience in a team‑leader or supervisory role, or a willingness to step into one.
