Barista Team Leader (Barista Maestro)

About the role

As a Barista Team Leader at Costa Coffee in Blackburn, you will help create great coffee experiences and memorable moments for customers. You’ll bring energy, confidence and support to every shift while enjoying flexible working patterns that suit the store’s needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead smooth, efficient shifts and ensure high service standards.
• Train, coach and support new baristas to develop their skills.
• Motivate and energise the team, fostering a positive work environment.
• Maintain coffee quality and store cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Use resourcefulness and adaptability to keep operations running smoothly.

Required profile

• Reliable role model with accountability and maturity.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Energetic, positive and confident when leading others.
• Adaptable, resourceful and calm under pressure.
• Previous experience as a team leader or a willingness to step into the role.
