Behaviour and Pastoral Support – High School

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Behaviour and Pastoral Support professional to join an outstanding high school in the London borough of Hounslow. The role focuses on promoting positive behaviour, providing pastoral care, and supporting students to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver restorative justice interventions and behaviour management strategies.
• Mentor and support students with challenging behaviour or additional needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, senior staff, and external agencies to develop personalised support plans.
• Monitor and record student progress, adjusting interventions as required.
• Contribute to a safe and inclusive school environment.

Required profile

• Experience in restorative justice, youth work, or school behaviour support.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with students and staff.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Relevant degree in Education, Youth Work, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Required skills

• Knowledge of restorative justice practices.
• Understanding of pastoral care principles.
