Behaviour Mentor – Support Students with SEN

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work with 11‑16 year‑old students who have special educational needs (SEN). The role is based in Southall and runs from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, providing one‑to‑one support in schools, community settings and the child’s home.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust and consistency with an assigned student, establishing positive daily routines.
• Support emotional regulation and manage challenging behaviours.
• Encourage engagement in education and personal development activities.
• Act as a positive role model, promoting confidence and independence.
• Collaborate with teachers, families and community partners to ensure a coordinated approach.

• Patient, resilient and proactive with a genuine passion for helping young people.
• Comfortable working across varied settings such as schools, youth centres and homes.
• Committed to delivering long‑term positive impact.

Required skills
