Behaviour Support Assistant – Maidenhead (Full‑time)

About the role

Our lovely school in Maidenhead is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to help create a nurturing and inclusive environment where students can thrive academically and emotionally.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with students to promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Support the development of social skills and conflict‑resolution strategies.
• Facilitate group activities that encourage positive peer interactions.
• Model healthy coping strategies and social skills.
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all pupils.

Required profile

• Ability to collaborate within a multi‑disciplinary team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for supporting children.
• Experience with children who have educational, social, emotional or mental health needs (beneficial but not essential).
• Desire to make a real impact.
