Bench General Manager

About the role

The Bench General Manager role supports an existing store while preparing to take ownership of a future Five Guys location. Based in Leeds, you will work alongside the current General Manager, helping to drive daily operations, profitability and exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and coach the store team to deliver perfect burgers and fries.
• Own the store’s P&L, driving sales and controlling costs.
• Ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations and plan for long‑term growth.
• Develop talent, building a strong pipeline of future leaders.
• Act as a brand ambassador, modelling Five Guys values for staff and customers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a fast‑paced retail or restaurant environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑development abilities.
• Ability to work hands‑on on the line alongside crew members.
• Commercial mindset with focus on profitability and cost control.
