Bench Joiner – CAD Experienced Cabinet Maker

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bench Joiner with strong CAD skills to join a fast‑growing British furniture manufacturer. You will work on site in Leighton Buzzard, turning technical drawings into high‑quality bespoke and batch‑produced furniture.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture bespoke and batch‑produced furniture to exacting standards.
• Read and interpret both hard‑copy and CAD technical drawings.
• Modify existing CAD files where design changes are required.
• Cut, machine, joint, assemble and finish furniture components.
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Support prototype development and the introduction of new products.
• Identify practical improvements to manufacturing processes.
• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and finish.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker, Bench Joiner or Furniture Maker.
• Confidence working with CAD designs and technical drawings.
• Hands‑on, factory‑based work style with a focus on quality.
• Ability to adapt to a fast‑moving, growing business environment.

Required skills

• CAD (ability to read and edit CAD drawings).
• Operation of woodworking machinery.
• Use of hand tools for cutting, machining, jointing and finishing.
• Interpretation of technical drawings.
