Bench Joiner

About the role

You will join a specialist solid‑surface manufacturer as a Bench Joiner, working on a range of bespoke worktops, reception desks, washroom products and healthcare surfaces. Full training will be provided, allowing you to develop into a specialist solid‑surface fabricator.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical workshop drawings.
• Cut, machine and shape solid‑surface materials.
• Form, assemble and join components, creating seamless joints and edge details.
• Fabricate sinks, upstands and other specialist features.
• Sanding, finishing and polishing completed products.
• Check finished work against drawings and quality standards.
• Operate routers, saws, CNC equipment and other workshop machinery safely.

Required profile

• Strong practical joinery skills and pride in workmanship.
• Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read drawings, measure accurately and use hand tools safely.
• Consistently high‑quality output, both independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain a clean, organised work area and demonstrate reliable attendance.
