BI Developer / Analyst (All Levels) – UK Wide

About the role

We are seeking experienced Business Intelligence Developers and Analysts at all seniority levels to join UK‑based clients on‑site, hybrid or remote. You will own the transformation of warehouse data into dashboards, semantic models and self‑service tools that drive business decisions across commercial, product, finance, marketing and operations domains.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to capture reporting requirements and translate them into BI deliverables.
• Design and build production‑grade dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, Looker or equivalent platforms.
• Develop and maintain scalable semantic models (DAX, LookML, Tableau data models).
• Build and optimise data marts and reporting layers in cloud warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse or Databricks.
• Write efficient SQL queries and implement BI governance including version control, refresh schedules and access management.
• Collaborate with data engineering peers to resolve upstream data quality issues.
• Champion self‑service analytics by creating curated layers for business users.
• For senior roles, set BI standards, mentor junior developers and lead large‑scale reporting initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong SQL proficiency against modern cloud data warehouses.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major BI platform (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik, etc.).
• Solid understanding of dimensional modelling, semantic layers and ELT processes.
• Familiarity with Git‑based workflows and BI deployment pipelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and data engineering teams.
