Bid Coordinator – Construction & Refurbishment Projects

About the role

We are seeking an organised Bid Coordinator to join a leading contractor delivering refurbishment, planned maintenance and specialist construction projects across the UK. Based in Ilford with hybrid working, you will support the full bid lifecycle, ensuring high‑quality tender submissions are delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the Bid/No‑Bid decision process and manage bid programmes.
• Prepare and submit Pre‑Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs), Supplier Questionnaires (SQs) and Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents.
• Organise bid launch meetings, track actions and maintain the bid library and tender database.
• Liaise with clients for tender clarifications and upload submissions via procurement portals.
• Produce case studies, corporate CVs and presentation material for tender bids.
• Review unsuccessful bids and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a bid coordination or similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, able to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
