About the role

The Bid Coordinator will support the business development function at the Harwell Campus, helping to secure new contracts through high‑quality proposals. Working in a hybrid environment, you will collaborate with technical experts, project managers and sales teams to deliver compelling tender responses.

Key responsibilities

• Identify tender and framework opportunities via online portals.
• Coordinate the end‑to‑end bid process, ensuring timely and compliant submissions.
• Support bid qualification and go/no‑go decisions.
• Research opportunities and gather information for proposal content.
• Format, proofread and produce professional bid documentation.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to develop engaging content.
• Manage bid schedules, deadlines and trackers.
• Maintain bid libraries and keep documentation up to date.
• Analyse bid activity and contribute to continuous improvement of processes.

Required profile

• Experience in bid coordination, proposal support or project administration.
• Excellent written communication and proofreading abilities.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Proactive attitude with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
